What is Form NCP?

Form NCP — Notification of Change of Address or Particulars — is the official South African form used to update the personal details held against you on the eNaTIS system: your physical or postal address, your name (e.g. after marriage), or your contact details.

Why it matters for licence renewals

Your MVL2 renewal notice is posted to the address on record. If you've moved and never lodged an NCP, the notice goes to your old address — which is the single most common reason people miss a renewal and end up paying penalties. Updating your address with Form NCP keeps the notices coming to the right place. If you've already missed one, see never received a renewal notice.

The 21-day rule

By law you must notify the licensing authority of a change of address or particulars within 21 days of the change. It's free to do.

How to complete and submit Form NCP

1. Download and print the form above.
2. Fill in your current details and the new details — ID number, old and new address, and any name or contact changes.
3. Sign and date the form.
4. Submit at a DLTC or licensing authority with your ID and proof of the new address.

Documents to bring with Form NCP

• South African ID
• Proof of the new address — utility bill, bank statement or lease not older than three months (an affidavit if it's not in your name)
• Supporting documents for a name change (e.g. marriage certificate), if applicable
